Brenton's TESTIMONY
Growing up it felt like, if the church doors were open, I was there. My parents were deeply involved in the church and created a culture where the body of Christ was highly valued. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was young, probably around age 6, and my young life was spent attempting to figure out what that meant. My faith was a large part of my life but it wasn't until college that I really felt a challenge to make it more personal. Following Christ had always been a priority, but I then got more interested in theology. Heather and I got married in 2012 and I knew that I needed to be the leader of our household. I am certainly not perfect but I try to make sure that we both are doing our best to follow God's will for our lives and marriage. Our time in Memphis also brought us to an incredible church that further challenged me to grow closer to God and since then I have made it a priority to walk daily with Him.
Heather's TESTIMONY
I accepted Christ at Vacation Bible School when I was in first grade. I knew I had Jesus in my heart, but He became most real to me in ninth grade when my little brother miraculously recovered from a terrible accident. I chose to become a nurse after seeing nurses care for my brother so well with empathy and servants' hearts.
The Lord's power and faithfulness continued to be demonstrated to my family and I throughout the years.
He had His hand in choosing my sweet husband, and in guiding us to get on the same page in our marriage with our finances. We took Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University in 2014 and it changed our marriage and our ideas of stewardship and giving. When I finished graduate school we began leading a small group for married couples, and the Lord taught us more than we could have imagined! Despite several moves, job changes, health challenges, and family heartbreaks, God has been faithful and shown us grace.
Letter to you

Despite brokenness in the world, we can have hope in Jesus because He is the only One who never disappoints. Though we have challenges, God is faithful and shows us grace. We strive to live in a way that draws others into His steadfast love.
We love our church! They have a wonderful children's program and even a special ministry for adoptive families. All of our friends' kiddos actually look forward to going to their classes when the grown ups go to Sunday School Bible study after the sermon. Our Children's Minister is an adoptive mother, and the church has special activites for kids throughout the year.
Brenton plays cello in the worship band on Sundays, and we attend Life Group on Wednesday nights to enjoy Bible study and fellowship with other familes. Heather is in a women's fellowship group called Shoulder to Shoulder, and her group has been praying for you and this baby since January 2023.
Vision For Raising A Child
-We want to pour ourselves into helping your child embrace who they are as God's unique creation!
-We will raise your child to know that Jesus loves them, and to seek a relationship with Him.
-We will teach them by example to make God and family their top priorities.
-We will demonstrate the value of honesty, responsibility, loyalty, and following through.
-We will do our best to practice what we preach, and admit when we make mistakes.
-We will trust in God's perfect timing and wisdom, even when we don't understand.
John 13 says people will know we are His disciples by how we love one another. We want to be examples of love, no matter how different someone may be from us.
