About Us

We are high school sweet hearts that met through mutual friends over 16 years ago. Our married life, 7 years ago, began in Salt lake City, where we first became parents when we adopted our cat, Cora. Living in Salt Lake City taught us a lot about working together as a teamby leaning on on another for support. After 5 years together in Salt Lake, we returned to the St. Louis area. This is where we met, and we are elated to be surrounded by friends and family that inspire and motivate us everyday.

Our marriage is strong, built on  a foundation of trust, communication, and teamwork. These are the core values we will use to guide us as we transition into parenthood. We have known about our fertility struggles long before we were married, so adpotion has been on our hearts for a large portion of our relationship.

We are looking forward to growing our family through any of the following adoption opportunities:

Semi-open
Gender
Any gender
Ethnicity

Our Christian Commitment

Andrew grew up deeply rooted in the United Methodist Church, and Ashley in the Lutheran Church, until she was confirmed in the United Methodist Church as a teenager. Our church life as a couple has been centered around the United Methodist Church, where we were active participants in the youth group and the youth choir. Throughout college, we made it a priority to attend services whenever we returned home. When we moved to Salt Lake City, we stayed connected in our faith through online worship and streaming services. Now that we are back in St. Louis and preparing to grow our family through adoption, we are exploring a new spiritual home that aligns with this exciting chapter. Throughout our journey, daily prayer and devotion have remained a meaningful and consistent part of our lives, helping us stay grounded and connected to our values.

Vision For Raising A Child

As followers of Christ, we believe every child is a sacred gift, created with purpose, wrapped in love, and framed in the image of God. Our hope for your little one is rooted in the deep, unwavering promises of Scripture.

We pray that your child will grow up knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), chosen and cherished- not just by us but by a heavenly Father who has a perfect plan for their life

We desire to raise them in a home where grace abounds, where faith is lived out daily, and where love is unconditional. We long to teach them the beauty of God’s love through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and to help them walk in the light of that truth. We promise to tell them their story with honor- how their life began with courage and love- and how God in His infinite wisdom, brought our lives together. This child will never wonder if they are wanted. They will always know that they are deeply loved by you, by us, and most of all, by God.

ABOUT Andrew

By Ashley:

I have had the privilege of knowing and loving Andrew for over 16 years, and my love for him has only grown during that time. Andrew's passion and drive for his friends, family, and God were the characteristics that initially drew me to him; his humor and intelligence were bonuses. Andrew will drop anything for a friend or family member, whether it be helping a friend move or writing a heartfelt best man’s speech for his twin brother, you can always count on him. Additionally, Andrew is always willing to lend a hand or offer a laugh; these are some of his best qualities that will make him a great dad. Andrew's intelligence never ceases to amaze me. It was no easy feat for either of us, but one of my proudest moments as a wife was watching the culmination of all of his hard work come together and become a reality. Those seven years of graduate school are a testament to his character, showcasing perseverance, dedication, and mental agility in reaching an end goal that will ultimately yield the best outcome for our future family.

WORK & EDUCATION

I have a PhD from the University of Utah. I am currently using that degree at lab outside of St. Louis where I test the extractable and leachable profile of medical devices to determine the toxicological risk associated with exposure to the patient

ABOUT Ashley

By Andrew

Ash and I first met in high school, and it truly was love at first sight. She is kind, generous, humble, smart, and selfless. Most importantly, Ash is dependable; she will always put the well-being of her friends and family before herself. Ash is devoted, devoted to her work, devoted to her home, devoted to her tribe. Additionally, Ash is spiritual. Like many others, her walk with God has not always been easy. From an early age, she has struggled knowing she will likely never be able to conceive her own children. I don't see this as one of Ash's limitations, but instead a demonstration of her perseverance. I think this experience allows Ash to relate to expectant mothers on a deeper level as they consider placing their child for adoption.

WORK & EDUCATION

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Central Missouri. I am putting that degree to good use at a local daycare where I manage my room of four toddlers. We spend our days doing arts and crafts, playing with toys, and watching a daily Disney movie. While I love all the children that I work with, my long-term goal is to be a full-time parent.

ABOUT OUR HOME

We live in a cozy, recently renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. This is our very first home, and we have put a lot of love and care into making it a place that is both comfortable and full of life. From the moment we moved in, it felt like home.

The neighborhood is everything we hoped for: quiet, friendly, and safe. We have already gotten to know some of our neighbors, and there is a real sense of community here. We are just minutes from great shopping, restaurants, and a beautiful park, where we love to go for walks and enjoy the outdoors. It is the kind of area where you can truly feel settled, with plenty of space to grow as a family.

We chose this home because we could picture a future here - birthday parties in the backyard, bedtime stories in the kids’ rooms, and lazy Sunday mornings after church in the living room. It is more than just a house to us - it is the start of our next chapter, and we cannot wait to share it with a child.
