William's TESTIMONY

I grew up going to church and accepted Jesus at a young age. I grew stronger in my faith over the years. I was blessed to be surrounded by a lot of good Christain role models. God helped me get through our daughter's passing and has given me a newer/stronger perspective on what faith means to me.

Lauren's TESTIMONY

I don't have a dramatic story of conversion. I grew up going to church every Sunday and have always been a believer. I got to know God better in 7th grade through an excellent small group leader. God has walked me through a lot of difficult trials in my life and I have endured only through His strength and grace.

Letter to you

Dear Birth Parent,

We are incredibly honored that you would consider us to be the adoptive parents of your precious child. We are inspired by your courageous decision to give your child life, and understand that it is being made out of love for your child. If you decide that we are a good fit for your child, we want you to know that they will be loved and cherished as a member of our family not only by us, but our family and friends as well.

Our names are Lauren and Will. We both grew up in Oklahoma City and attended the same church. We’ve been married for almost three years, and have always wanted to have a family of our own. In our second year of marriage, we were overjoyed to discover that we were pregnant with our daughter Hope. At 21 weeks into pregnancy, we learned Hope had a rare genetic condition called Trisomy 13 which is considered incompatible with life. Hope was born straight into Heaven at 37 weeks which left us heartbroken, but more determined than ever to start a family of our own. After discussing our options with several families who have adopted, we've decided that adoption is right for us. We are excited and fully prepared to take the route of starting a family through adoption. Please know that we are more than happy to share anything about our lives that you would like to know.

We chose adoption because we know firsthand how precious human life is. We wish to give your child the home, the family, and the life you desire for them. We are both self-employed and work from home, which will allow us time with your child during the day that many parents unfortunately cannot spend. We plan on sending them to private school, and making sure they are active in the church. We believe a parents’ role is to help guide and develop the child to become the person God wants them to be.

If we are blessed with the opportunity to raise your child, we look forward to developing a long-lasting relationship with you. We are open to occasional in person meetings, and are happy to share updates on your child via email, photos, messages, etc. We will make it clear to your child how much you love them, and how your decision to give them to us was made out of love.

I am an easy-going person who finds joy in the quiet moments of life. I have a passion writing and reading, and I enjoy spending my time doing things that are creative. I value honesty, hard work, and curiosity, and I look forward to instilling those values in my future children.

EXTENDED FAMILY

I have a large extended family with my mother and father, two brothers and their wives, my younger sister, and plenty of nieces and nephews. We all live in the same city and we are all very close.

WORK & EDUCATION

I got a degree in accounting. After college, I went to work as an accountant for an oil and gas company. I am currently self-employed as a residential appraiser.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS

I love reading, writing, art, history, sports (Thunder, Oklahoma State), board games, Chess, cards, and running.

I am a social person who thrives on having fun and connecting with people. Whether it’s watching sports or playing tennis, I bring energy and enthusiasm to everything I do. I have a very outgoing nature, and my love for friends and family is evident in the way I prioritize game nights and shared moments. I like to make people feel valued and included.

EXTENDED FAMILY

My family and I are very close. I am an only child. My parents live nearby and we spend a lot of time with my extended family which includes aunts, uncles, cousins, and my grandpa.

WORK & EDUCATION

I am a licensed realtor and graduated with a bachelor's degree.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS

My hobbies include: sports (Thunder and OU Football), playing tennis, cooking/baking, Mahjong, checkers, game nights with friends and family, hosting friends/family in our home & shopping.
