Dear Birthmother, Thank you for considering us during this incredibly courageous and difficult decision. We know that God is working in your life as much as he is working in ours and we are praying for Him to show up in huge ways in the coming months! We believe that relying on Him is the only way to move forward through this journey of adoption and parenthood and were praying that He will give you comfort and guidance as well. We met seven years ago when we were set up by our mutual best friends and we have been married for five and a half years. A year and a half ago we welcomed our daughter, Julia, into our family through adoption and she has brought us more joy than we could have imagined. We are also very blessed to have an open relationship with both of Julia's biological parents and love that she will know them personally. Most of our time these days is spent chasing her around and being silly with her. We absolutely love our lives in Austin with the most incredible friends and family. We love being outside, watching football and baseball, going to see movies, traveling and just being together! We are SO excited to welcome a second child into our family! We've always known that adoption would be the way that we would grow our family, and we know how sweet it can be because of our adoption into the family of Christ. If you wish, we would love to meet you and hear your story, get to know you, and be able to tell our child about how this difficult decision was made out of love. We're open to sharing updates, pictures and visits with you. As you work through these decisions, please know that you are not alone. Even if we never meet, know that God is with you. We're praying that He gives you miraculous comfort and peace. In the Bible's book of Isaiah God says, "...do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you." With Love, Sam & Casey
