We are Monica and Peter and we are so grateful you've taken the time to glance into our lives. Many years ago, we were longing for children but struggling to get pregnant. After several rounds of fertility tests, we ultimately received a call from our doctor confirming we would not be able to get pregnant without fertility treatments. We were devastated at the time, felt peace about pursuing fertility treatments, but also felt strongly that the Lord was calling us to welcome a child into our home through adoption. We went the fertility treatment route first, and by the grace of God, we now have two young boys. We're crazy about our kids. Throughout all these years we have continued to feel the pull toward adoption, and now, here we are! We cannot wait to come alongside a birthmother and offer lifelong, unconditional love to her child with an open adoption if that's what she desires. We have been praying for this future adopted child for a long time, and now we pray we get to meet them soon.

Ellis is our oldest, age 5, who loves meeting new people and going to new places. Every night before bed he asks “what new things are we going to do tomorrow?” His favorite activities include riding his scooter, reading, playing catch, and playing on the playset in the backyard. He also loves reading to his little brother, and can’t wait to read to his new little sibling, too.

Jaxon (Jax) is 3 years old and always has a huge smile on his face. He loves people and always wants to cuddle up next to his mom and dad. His favorite activities include puzzles, dinosaurs, going down slides, and doing whatever his brother is doing.
At bedtime, we rock him while singing “You Are My Sunshine” and it’s one of the best parts of the day. Jax is going to be such a sweet big brother one day.

Dear Birth Mom,
When it comes to adoption, society likes to celebrate the adoptive family, the ones bringing a child into their home. We feel passionately that this is backwards. It is the birthparents who should be celebrated and honored for their incredible selflessness. Whether you choose us or not, our prayer is that you find a family who not only loves your child, but also cares for you, because YOU matter.
When we found out we weren’t able to have children on our own, we didn’t realize this would make us better parents. We didn’t realize the difficult road to creating a family would lead to us savoring each day with our little ones. But now we know. We know we have so much appreciation for getting to be parents, and our kids feel even more loved because of it. We have SO much love to give, and we would be completely overjoyed to give it to your child. Praying we get to meet you soon!
I grew up in a Christian home, going to church regularly with my family. It wasn’t until I was 8 years old that I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. After that I continued to attend church regularly, growing up with the youth group and small groups. When I was in high school I really came to understand and internalize what it meant to have Jesus as the center of my life and I began to serve more in my church to bring the name of Jesus to others. While in High school I began leading small groups of junior high boys as well as leading elementary age classes on Sundays. Today I spend time with Jesus daily and believe him and have a small group of men that I meet with weekly to discuss what God is teaching us. I believe Jesus lived a perfect life and he is the perfect example for us to look to as we learn how to live by loving God and loving others above ourselves. I strive to continuously learn what that looks like in His life so that I can apply it to mine and be more like Him every day.
I began a personal relationship with Jesus when I was about 13 years old. I grew up in the church my whole life, attending Sunday services and youth group every week. In middle school, with the help of youth leaders, personal bible studies, and prayer, I put my full trust in Jesus. I recognized Him as the author and perfector of my faith and have been pursuing a relationship with Him ever since. I understand that my salvation is not possible because of my works, but by my faith in Christ. I also understand our mission as Christ followers is to spread the good news of Jesus’ work on the cross with others.

Peter is the most humble person I know. Our friend group was actually talking about this recently, and we were all
in agreement! I find Peter’s humility somewhat ironic, because he’s also the very best person I know. If I were as funny, selfless, and brilliant as he is, I’d have a pretty hefty ego.
Peter is a devoted employee; he’s worked at the same engineering company for 12+ years. Peter is a devoted husband; he’s loved me well every day that we’ve been together. But maybe my favorite thing about Peter: he is, truly, a devoted father. He loves our kids fiercely and they are crazy about him.
Silly voices every day when reading stories. Playing endless rounds of Uno with our oldest. Piggy backs every night on the way upstairs for bed. He has never missed a T-ball game (I’ve missed two!). He loves the Lord and pursues a relationship with Him. Peter is wise in his parenting, knowing when to give correction and when to give extra hugs. I know there’s no such thing as a perfect father, but he seems, without even realizing, to toe the line.
While Peter grew up in a smaller family, his two sisters are now married with multiple children, ranging from ages 1-11 years old. Holidays and vacations these days involve a lot of cousin-time for our kids, spent laughing and playing. Peter’s parents are loving, supportive of their kids, and strong in their faith. Peter grew up going to a Florida beach every year. This was always the highlight for their family. His parents are thrilled about the adoption and cannot wait to welcome a new grandbaby.
Peter has worked at the same engineering company, National Instruments (NI), since he graduated from college 12 years ago. Peter was a hardware engineer for many years and is now a project manager. He has a hybrid schedule, working from home a few days each week, and he loves what he does!
Peter went to Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He met Monica during his senior year at Texas A&M.
Peter's interests include playing various sports (baseball, golf, disc golf, etc.) and playing board games. He also loves snowboarding, wakeboarding, and barbecuing meats on the weekends.

The first thing you will notice about Monica is how friendly and fun she is. This is what drew me to her when we first met at a college football game over 12 years ago. She lights up a room when she walks in and genuinely loves meeting new people.
Monica’s personality has a unique balance of strengths. She is very creative, which can be seen in her job as a dance instructor at a local dance studio. She is also the office manager of the dance studio, utilizing her leadership and detail-oriented personality. She is truly happiest when engaging with others, whether in a casual, social setting or within more intimate conversations.
I can't stress enough how good Monica is with kids. Growing up as the oldest of six siblings and now teaching kids dance, she has a way of making every moment fun. She makes up games on-the-spot that our children absolutely love. Our son begs to do school workbook pages with her every day as he enjoys that time so much. I couldn’t have asked for a better wife for myself and mother for my children.
Monica is the oldest of 6 siblings and is extremely close with them and her parents. Most family vacations involve immediate and extended family, which means there's never a dull moment! Both of her parents have always valued creating meaningful experiences for their kids over material things. That typically means her family goes on multiple vacations per year, whether far or near, to create special memories that will last a lifetime. Monica has brought this experience-driven mindset into our own family.
Monica works from home part-time as the office manager of a local dance studio. She is also a dance instructor at the studio and teaches classes once a week. Monica loves both teaching dance and the administrative side of working at the studio!
She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University in 2014.
Monica's favorite hobbies include reading, running, and going on walks with her family. She grew up dancing and is now a dance teacher. Monica absolutely loves traveling, especially to explore new countries that differ greatly from our own. She is also an adrenaline junkie and enjoys skydiving, scuba diving, bungee jumping... anything that's a fun, new challenge!

We live in Cedar Park, Texas, a small suburb just north of Austin. We love this city because it’s in the beautiful hill country, has a wonderful school system, and provides a small-town feel. We’re only 40 minutes from downtown Austin and frequently drive down for fun family outings. We love outdoor activities as a family and the options around us are endless.
Our home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac with lovely neighbors. The end of the cul-de-sac opens to a lakeside park, including an incredible playscape, walking trails, sports parks, kayak rentals, and more. We also have a neighborhood pool, complete with a kiddie area. Our kids also play on a playset in our backyard that Peter built this year, and often ask to eat dinner on their picnic table. We have an open room on our second floor that is used as our children’s play area, including toys, games, puzzles, and a desk for learning and coloring.
