Our story began in 2009, under the South Texas sky, where our relationship took flight. Brian was a persistent, charming pilot and Ashley a soon-to-be nurse who quickly found their futures intertwined over coffee and endless conversation.
As Brian soared through his pilot training, our hearts embarked on a journey of their own, mastering the skies of long-distance love. The distance only deepened our bond, and in 2010, a leap of faith brought Ashley to Arkansas, closing the miles between us. Our love took flight, and in 2012 amidst the tropical whispers of Punta Cana, we promised forever to each other.
Our adventures have led us through the vibrant streets of Little Rock to the sparkling lights of Las Vegas, the lush vineyards of Napa, and the welcoming warmth of Houston. Each city a chapter in our shared journey, a story we hope to continue writing with an open heart and home for another.
Brian’s bond with our daughter is a testament to the love and guidance he offers as a father. Addison shares her dad’s passion for flight, and always gets very excited when we announce an upcoming family trip.
Ashley, the heart of our home, brings care and joy to every moment. Her nurturing touch ensures that laughter fills our days and each family memory is painted with perfection.
In our quiet moments, we find solace in each other’s company, whether we’re wrapped in the embrace of a good movie, the camaraderie of game night, or the excitement of planning our next family journey.

Dear Birth Mom,
We are Brian and Ashley. We want to start off by acknowledging how brave, loving, and selfless you are for considering adoption for your child. We cannot even imagine how difficult this decision is for you. We’d love for you to know more about us so you can see why choosing us may be a good fit for you:
We have been together for 14 years and happily married for 11. We met when Brian was doing Air Force Pilot training, stationed in Ashley’s hometown of Corpus Christi, TX. One long coffee date at Starbucks was all it took for us to be inseparable after that. Brian now works as a Pilot for the Texas Air National Guard and Southwest Airlines. Ashley is a Registered Nurse who will take time off once the baby is home.
In 2014, after struggling with infertility, it was discovered that Ashley had ovarian cancer. After months of chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and two attempts at IVF, our ability to conceive a biological child was just not possible. We thought God’s plan was for us to not be parents at all, so for years we traveled, fostered dogs, and seized each day to the fullest.
Time, patience, and prayer healed the deep wound of our infertility and finally in 2020 God said, “Its time” and we were blessed to adopt our sweet Addison Rose. Ashley is in full remission from cancer and has excellent health.
We are so excited to expand our family and would like you to be involved as much as you are comfortable with. We want you to feel peace in knowing that your baby is already so loved by us and our extended family and friends. You are giving us THE greatest gift and we are so grateful!

Brian's family resides mostly in the Chicago area. We enjoy frequent visits, with our most recent trip being this past Christmas. We spent time with Brian's brother Dan and his girlfriend Dominique, enjoying simple pleasures like ice skating and visiting local Christmas markets, along with a nostalgic trip to the Walnut Room at Macy's. Hosting a gathering on Christmas Eve, we cherished the joy of introducing extended family to our daughter Addison for the first time. Brian's brother visits Texas many times per year to maintain a close relationship with Addison. He frequently takes time out of his busy schedule as an attorney without complaint.

Ashley's family lives in South Texas, where Addison, and our future child, will be surrounded by many cousins. Living within driving distance allows us to regularly join in family activities such as baseball games, dance recitals, and family dinners. Ashley has an older brother and sister, and a younger brother. Ashley has 4 nephews and 3 nieces. The close bond Addison shares with her cousins is something we look forward to for our future child as well.
Ashley's parents (Grammy and Grandpa) always take time on the weekends to attend their grandchildren's sporting events, dance recitals, and birthday parties.

We live in a 2 story 4-bedroom 3.5 bath home in a safe suburb that is zoned to fantastic schools. Our house has a designated playroom both upstairs and downstairs that is stocked with books and toys. There is a spare room across the hall from Addison's room that is ready to be transformed into a beautiful nursery. We love to play outside in our large backyard when the weather is nice. We especially enjoy blowing bubbles, jumping on the trampoline, and playing chase with our puppy. We have an extended back patio that's great for sidewalk chalk art, as well!
We have great sidewalks throughout our subdivision that are safe for going on long walks together. We love walking to the park to play on the playground and meet other sweet families with young kids. On our street there are many young children of all ages that are always playing together outside. We even get together twice yearly for Halloween and Easter parties and all the kids have a great time celebrating.
