We met at a Christian Club that Rick had started with a friend at a local college. We dated for four years and then got married and it was the best decision we could have made. We are perfect for each other.

About Paige (from Rick’s perspective)

Paige is the love of my life. I feel that she is the most generous, caring, loving, and thoughtful person I know. She continually motivates and encourages me to be the best version of myself. Paige is an amazing mom to our two boys and is always investing love and time into their lives. She loves to bake with them and read to them. She loves making special moments and memories in each day. For every holiday that comes around, Paige plans exciting projects for the kids to bring as much anticipation for that holiday as possible. Tea parties and fun educational games are a common occurrence in her homeschool days. She loves to take the kids outside to explore and she has the best way of bringing whatever she is teaching them to life. More than my wife, Paige is my best friend. When we are together, we are always laughing, and sharing with each other all the amazing things God is doing in our lives. I feel infinitely blessed to be married to her and to have her in my life. I look forward to the years ahead knowing that we have each other for the rest of time.

About Rick (from Paige’s perspective)

Rick is a wonderful husband to me and Father to my boys. We work, play, and laugh together daily. He is the most loyal and patient man I know and he never ceases to amaze me with his dedication to our family. He is compassionate yet strong. He is honest and trustworthy. If I ever doubt myself or get discouraged, he is always there with a hug and a listening ear. When I have an idea to try, Rick is always supportive and gives his all to help me achieve it. He embodies all the qualities I dreamed of finding in the man I would marry. As the years go by, I find myself more and more in love with him as we live this life as purposefully as possible. We hope that our children remember us most for bringing joy to others and making a difference wherever we go. Watching Rick with our two boys is a gift. He can make them laugh like no one else can. They love to spend every waking moment with him. We are thankful that Rick works from home often which gives him the ability to have more time with us than most. He knows how to make life fun and memorable even on the most mundane days. I love this man and cannot imagine my life without him. The bond we share is truly a gift from God.

Reid is full of joy and kindness. He is always making us laugh with his adorable personality. He loves telling jokes, playing baseball, playing games, and most of all, playing with his brother Parker. He loves to help Parker and make him laugh.

Parker

Parker is always smiling and is a natural comedian. His favorite thing to do is play with his brother Reid. He also enjoys cooking and if he isn't helping in the kitchen, he is playing with his play kitchen!

Letter to you

Dear Birth Mom,

Thank you for giving us this opportunity to introduce ourselves. We are grateful that you love your unborn child so much that you are willing to consider an adoption plan. As parents, we know that words cannot express the love between parents and their child and we respect your courage, strength, and love for your child. We feel honored that you are taking the time to get to know us to see if we would be the perfect fit for you and your sweet baby. We want you to know that no matter what happens next, we are praying for you and the difficult decision you are making.

We have been married for 9 eventful and fulfilling years. We have known both joy and sorrow. These experiences have helped us grow as people and as parents. We are fortunate that Rick’s job allows Paige to stay home with our two boys to invest as much love and time into their lives as possible. Rick works from home frequently which allows for more time all together as a family.

Adoption has always been on both of our hearts long before we met and got married. While we were dating, we discussed our desires for the future and we were both happy to hear how adoption was something that we knew would be a part of our story. We have relatives who were adopted and this has been a part of what inspired us to want to adopt as well. Our two sons, Reid and Parker, are as excited about growing our family through adoption as we are. They talk daily about the baby that will complete our family. They are excited to love and nurture a sibling and we know, without a doubt, that they will be the best big brothers around. Paige homeschools Reid and Parker and because of the time they share together daily, their bond is something really special. We know that a baby will be protected and loved by them for the rest of time. Even though we are able to have more children, our hearts are dedicated to adoption and we are grateful that you are considering us.

As we navigate this journey together, we want you to know that we are committed to raising our children to know the love of the one true God who created them. We want to take every opportunity to show them how much we love and support them as their parents. Please know that your child will always know how much you love them and how selfless you were to make the brave decision to place them for adoption. about Rick EXTENDED FAMILY

We are close to both of our parents and love watching them build a beautiful relationship with their grandkids. Paige is an only child so the boys are spoiled by her parents frequently since they are their only grandkids. Rick's parents live close by and are instrumental in the boys lives as well. We love going swimming during the summer at their house and they enjoy taking the boys for special dates. We celebrate birthdays and holidays with family. There are many aunts, uncles, and cousins that we are blessed to have in our lives as well. We are grateful for family and all of the support and love they bring to our lives.
