We met in Virginia the summer after Katie graduated college and had an immediate connection. We started out as good friends and soon after fell in love. We live in a small town in the northern DFW area with our son Josiah, and two small dogs Sophie and Riley. We all enjoy spending time outdoors, trying out new restaurants and going on adventures. We love to laugh and have fun just being together as a family.

I am almost two years old. My Mom and Dad adopted me when I was four days old. My favorite pastimes include being outside, playing with my toys and doing weekend grocery shopping with my family. I also enjoy reading books and meeting new people. I love spending time with other kids and I cannot wait to be a big brother.

Letter to you

Dear Birth Mom,

How do we even begin to write a love letter to people we have never met, yet who have already captured our hearts? Words cannot express all of the love and gratitude we have for you and this gift of adoption. We cannot imagine what you must be going through and feeling during this time, but know that our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you constantly.

God gave us the desire to have a family many years ago. Our plan consisted of having biological and adopted children. Josh’s Dad and aunt were both adopted. However, after many years of trying to conceive on our own, and pursing infertility treatments, we realized that God had a different plan for us. After much prayer, He led us to Legacy Adoption Services.

Although we cannot replace you, we promise to love your child unconditionally and to help them discover God’s perfect plan for their life. We will also remind them of your love and your brave and selfless decision. We will always do our best to honor you. We hope that you will consider trusting us with your child. We would be honored to be part of this journey with you.

about our home

We built our home in 2019. It has five bedrooms and four and a half baths. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large loft and media room upstairs. The main bedroom and nursery are downstairs. There is also a fenced in back yard. We live in a wonderful community with many young families and an elementary school less than a mile from our house. The school system in our city is very desirable and highly rated. Our community offers two playgrounds, two pools, a mini golf putting green, basketball court, walking trails and multiple catch and release fishing ponds. We even have ducks that the neighborhood families feed regularly.
