We are each other’s missing piece, extremely different but alike in so many ways! We met through a dating app when Daniel gave it one last shot before deleting the app and coincidentally was Rochelle’s first match. The timing was meant to be! We hit it off immediately and started dating in early 2019. Daniel proposed in 2020 in Florida at Marco Island when we were walking along the beach. He had asked a kind stranger to take a picture of us on the beach but quietly asked her to record everything. After posing for the picture, Daniel got down on one knee. We were married a year later right after everything open up after Covid. It was a small intimate wedding on the beach in Key Largo, Florida. Rochelle’s Grandma was the flower girl and our pup was our ring bearer.
Getting married when we were older helped us start our relationship strong because we knew who we really were. Our life experiences helped shape us into adults who know to communicate effectively and appropriately. We are able to truly understand each other and tell each other what we need in our relationship. We are both hard workers and love to have fun and enjoy each other’s company.
Dear Birth Mom,
Thank you for taking time to consider our profile! We are so honored that you decide to take a few moments to get to know us. We can’t pretend to know how difficult and confusing this time is for you, while you are trying to figure out the best option for you and your precious baby. We hope that you feel supported and loved no matter where you are in your journey. We have so much admiration for you for carefully weighing all your options and we hope you feel empowered to make the decision that is best for you and your baby.
We always knew that we wanted to be parents. We struggled with infertility and felt that God was calling us to adoption. We are extremely excited to become parents through adoption. We have so much love to give. We live in a suburb of DFW in a safe and friendly neighborhood. We are thankful to be close to our families so we can hangout with them on a regular basis. We enjoy going to church on the weekend and attending local events going on near us like sporting events, local fairs/festivals, hiking trails and patio restaurants. We make sure to do family workouts together in our home gym. We believe living a healthy active lifestyle is important.
We want you to know that you are loved and supported no matter your decision. We are praying for you, your baby, and your journey. Thank you again for taking time to get to know us and possibly considering us.
With love,
Rochelle & Daniel
I was born in Sherman, Texas about 15 minutes from Lake Texoma, which generates a large percentage of the income for the area and has a lot of influence on everyone and their lifestyles. My dad has worked in the marine industry on Lake Texoma his entire life. I grew up in and around his shops, and ended up getting into the business myself because I loved it so much. We raced in the American Power Boat Association in the unlimited super boat class for almost 10 years together. This created a strong bond with my dad and is one of the reasons I want to be a dad. I want to be able to teach my child things and share similar experiences with them that will help to shape their life.
For work, I am in sales for home construction, and I have a small business with boats doing boat repairs and boat brokerage. In my free time, I like to spend time with my wife going on hikes together, working out, practicing shooting at the shooting range, and playing with Whiskey.
“Daniel is the nicest person you will ever meet and makes me want to be a better person. He will drive across town to help someone that he met five years ago because he believes it’s the right thing to do. He is always trying to help anyone in need without looking for anything in return. Daniel is an extremely hard worker and is extremely handy. There’s nothing he can’t fix or build. He’s also funny and can always make me laugh or brighten a bad day. He has a huge heart and is going to make the best dad ever because he has so much love to give.” (Rochelle)
I am close with my family. I have one biological sister (who has a six-year-old son) and two half sisters. My half sisters are younger and live out of state, so we don't see each other often. I usually see and talk to my dad weekly. I see him when I go up to Lake Texoma, which is about 90 minutes from where we live. We like to hangout on the water together. My mom and step dad live about 30 minutes away and are the closest family to where we live. I talk to them three or four times a week and see them usually once a week. My family is extremely excited and supportive of us expanding our family. They can't wait to meet our future child.
I grew up in a suburb of Dallas, Texas with my mom, brother, stepdad (who my mom married when I was three), and two step sisters. I currently work as a manager at a high end gym and am a personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and nutrition coach. Each month I am always in the top five in the nation at my job, which I feel proud of. I enjoy helping people reach their goals and live happier and healthier lives. I start work early at 5:00 AM and finish around 12:00 PM, which will be a great schedule once the baby joins our family. My job also offers three hours of child care each day.
In my free time, I like to workout! I train for different runs, competitions, and events and value living a healthy lifestyle. In cooler months I like to go hiking, and in warmer weather you can find me on water boating, jet ski, stand up paddle boarding, or kayaking. I also love to train Whiskey, our pup. We have earned many trick titles together. Though I’m active, I love lazy Saturday nights laying outside on back porch, or on the couch watching a movie.
I want to be a mom and show a child unconditional love. I dream of having a family that goes on vacations together, does holidays, builds lifelong memories, and plays in the backyard together. I picture us snuggling on the couch on Friday nights watching a movie and eating popcorn and going to church on Sunday mornings. I can’t wait to teach my child new things.
“I love how loyal and protective Rochelle is of her loved ones. She is always there for me and our family. I admire her drive, work ethic, and how passionate she is about helping her clients. Whenever we go somewhere that has kids, the kids literally gravitate toward Rochelle. She is extremely patient, loving, and kind with them. Motherhood is a natural instinct for her. She also has the best laugh ever! Once she starts to laugh, so does everyone else. It’s so genuine and infectious.” (Daniel)
I am very close to my family who all live within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We see each other every week and talk daily. They will be very involved in the baby's life and are so excited for us to add to our family. We love getting together, hanging out, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. We currently have one baby in our family who is seven months old, and my nieces and nephews range from 8-17 years old. They love coming over to “Aunt RoRo's” place to hangout. I have a special relationship with my grandma who is 83 and an amazing woman. We go to the state fair together, went to Disney two years ago just the two of us, and do all kinds of things together.
Our home is one-story with huge, tall ceilings. Before we moved into our home we updated everything. Now it is ready for hosting all of the holidays at our house with families! It has a great layout for having our loved ones over for gatherings and parties. We have three bedrooms plus an extra smaller room connected to our bedroom that can be used for a study, workout room, or nursery. The baby will stay in that room for the first few months. We have plenty of room for growing our family. We also have a garage gym that we like to workout in together and a huge backyard that we hang out in. We like to work on little projects together, and luckily Daniel is extremely handy. He can build or fix anything, which makes home projects tons of fun.
Our Dallas Fort Worth Texas suburb is made of three cul de sacs put together. It's safe and friendly and a great place to raise kids. Our next door neighbor has kids and they are always playing outside in the front yard because it is super safe. There are schools one-to-two miles from our house and several playgrounds nearby for kiddos to enjoy. We also use the trail behind our neighborhood, which is great for walking, running, and biking.
