We are Tom and Abi! Thank you for taking the time to take a glance into our lives! We got married in May of 2015 and are still in love today. In a busy world, we make it a point to prioritize our marriage and family. God comes first, family second, and work comes third. We've known and planned on adopting since before getting married, and we continue to hope and pray that the Lord chooses to bring children into our home for us to love, teach, and raise.
Dear expectant mother,
Our names are Tom and Abi (or Thomas and Abigail for long :). Thank you for taking the time to read this letter, and THANK YOU for choosing life for your child. You are an incredibly strong woman, and we’re already impressed by you. Whatever the coming days and years hold, we want to be there to help you, pray with you, and just talk. You are not alone! We hope to meet you, get to know you, and stay in contact with you for as long as you wish.
We know you are faced with lots of hard choices. Choosing life for your little baby is the most important. We would be honored to raise your little baby and are excited too!
WHY ADOPTION?
Abi received some news as a teenager that she would be unable to have children. “At 17 years old, it felt like the world was ending”. Meeting guys was scary for Abi, knowing she would eventually have to tell them… But Tom didn’t shy away, he was gun-ho for adoption from the get-go! It was at that time Tom reminded Abi that when we choose to give our hearts to Jesus, we are ALL ADOPTED into the kingdom of God. While we pray now for little babies' first adoption, we also pray for babies' second adoption into His kingdom!
FAMILY:
Both of our folks live close by. Both sets of parents are still married - rare, we know! We’re very blessed to have loving, godly families. Abi’s future plans are to stay home with our first adopted child, "I want to be there for them every day. Be the one that takes care of them, teaches them, and lets them know they are loved". We have a nephew who was recently adopted and is only a few months old. We look forward to welcoming the next adopted addition!
We hope this letter reaches you well. Please let us know if you have any questions at all - we are happy to answer and look forward to hearing from you.
Much love and prayers,
Tom & Abi
I was raised in a Christian household and was a 'carnal' Christian until very recently (2020). I attended church and would mentally affirm a Christian lifestyle, but my life was full of hidden sins and rebellion from God. Over the past five years or so, my wife and I became convicted of our lifestyles and our sins and started wrestling with the concept of truly living for Christ. I joined and started a men's Bible study and became involved in church. In 2020, I decided it was time to be baptized as an outward profession of my personal service to Christ. The Lord opened my eyes and showed me the depths of my depravity without Him, and I thank Him for saving me and giving me a purpose and a life worth living. God gave us His Word to guide us in this life. His Word is life, and he delights in those who seek Him, remember Him, delight in Him, and keep His law before them (Psalm 119:33-40, Malachi 3:16). We do this through constant engagement with His Word. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17
Being raised in church, I made a statement of faith and was baptized circa 1998. I was only 6-7 at the time, and my memories of those events are vague. As I matured my walk with the Lord, I realized as a woman in my mid-twenties that I was living completely 'my way' and just wanted Jesus to bless whatever door I wanted to walk through. Through a series of events and the Lord working through my friends and family, I realized church had become just a religion to me; an 'escape' that made me feel spiritual. I realized I needed to repent from the sins in my heart and life and totally surrender to Him. I made that profession in the Winter of 2021-2022 and was re-baptized Fall of 2022. Since then, I have really understood what Scripture means when it talks about 'the new creation' and the old things passing away - it's a new birth! I strive to walk with the Lord daily and I find myself enjoying prayer, church, reading my Bible, etc. No longer a burden or guilt trip or just a religion. I am thankful to understand this distinction finally! I often pray for others in my family and friend group who are still walking in sin and deception and look for opportunities to share my testimony and the Truth of the Word with others. It's amazing how many opportunities God blesses me with when I'm willing and open to be used by Him!
Tom is super smart - he has that look where he is always thinking. When he says something witty or silly (which is often), people look surprised because he has such a serious expression. I love him! We were both home-schooled. We were introduced in 2012 on Tom’s community college graduation day after we jumped into a group photo; it was love at first sight. Tom graduated from OU in 2016 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and has worked as an engineer ever since. Tom is the oldest of 9 siblings - he has been around kids his whole life and loves them.
Tom is very kind-hearted. He is also very witty, but super sweet.

Abi always has a smile on her face. She is happy, friendly, and hard-working. She has worked in banking, finance, and real estate for several years. Yes, we are nerds. Abi currently works for a real estate company in OKC. She finished her bachelor’s degree from UCO in business in 2019. Abi has loved kids since she was a child. As a pre-teen, she worked part-time babysitting. “It was a rewarding opportunity to love on and care for infants.” Abi also has a large family - she has 5 sisters! Abi feels blessed to have been present for a few of their births and to live close as they grow up.

We purchased our first home in the Fall of 2016, and we love it! It's a lovely 3 bed, 2.5 bath home with a two-car garage in a very safe area. Since moving in, we've been updating flooring, removing wallpaper, painting, gardening, tree-trimming, landscaping, and painting inside and out. We look forward to growing our family here!
