About us

Our love story started well before each of us were born. Our moms become fast and dear friends as young working professionals in a small town. Katie always remembered thinking how cute Koltin was, but we grew up in different schools and lived very different lives. There was no way our paths would ever cross “like that” until they did. Later in life, Koltin and Katie ran into one another at a mutual friends wedding where sparks flew, but we kept them a secret knowing it would cause chaos if things crumbled, so we took the time and ended up dating close to 5 years before we got engaged. In June, we will be married 4 years! It’s been a joy that our family and friends are now officially family and it doesn’t hurt that we’ve known our in-laws (on both sides!) our entire life. Together we love to go on road trips, gather with friends and family, go camping, explore new cities, and challenge ourselves with something new each year. At the same time, we also appreciate the little things in life like rainy days, coffee dates, riding our Polaris, movie nights with our son and trying ultimately to treat each other with love and respect. We are ready to give our unconditional love to child and expand of family through the miracle of adoption.

If one word could sum up Antin, that word would be adventurous. Antin is a one of a kind, 11 year old boy, who has a heart of gold. He loves to make everyone feel welcome and always wants to do the best he can.

Letter to you

Dear Birth Mom,

This is a difficult letter to write to someone you haven’t met. It’s also difficult for you to gain insight into our life by a paragraph. We can only hope that the same forces that has driven us all to this point in our lives, will also see to it that we find each other. We have a lot of love to give, and only wish for the opportunity to give it. We promise that your child will be happy and will know that they are so loved. It is the simple things in life that are important to us, a good home, good health and happiness. Our child will know that they are adopted from the beginning and they will know what a difficult decision their mother made and how much she loves them. We will teach them to enjoy the simple things in life, they will spend their time experiencing life rather than watching it on TV. They will learn about love, respect, hard work, and most of all, FUN! We believe eduction is important and will provide our children with whatever assistance is needed. Should you choose us to raise your child, you can be assured that they will have a happy, fulfilling life, and the world will be theirs to explore. You can also be assured that the gift you give will never be taken for granted. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, whatever decision you make, this is your decision and it must be right for you.

Please know you are supported and loved no matter where you are at in your journey. We admire you so much for choosing life and for considering adoption.We know that adoption is a call to us from God and we are willing, ready and very excited to bring another child into our family.

about Koltin

Koltin grew up in a small knit community in a rural Texas town. He has one older sister and is an uncle to many nieces and nephews. Koltin was raised on the importance of family and showing unconditional love to all. He spends his time growing his faith in the Lord and being the best role model for his son. Koltin enjoys working in the yard, hunting, and fishing. His favorite foods are Steak and Mexican food. He graduated high school in 2010 and went on to graduate college. After college he went on to start his own marketing firm.

about Koltin EXTENDED FAMILY

Every Christmas, we dress up in matching PJ's and stay at a different siblings house each year. We always look forward to the ginger bread house competition and the family time. For Easter, papa J dresses up as an easter bunny to bring excitement to the kids egg hunt.

Family Movie Nights: Every Saturday night with our son we love to go to the local Family Dollar and each pick out 3 “movie night snacks” and enjoy a movie that we alternate picking.
Camping at the Lake: Each summer we load the boat and camper and stay majority of the summer with our family at the lake, enjoying cookouts, fishing and water sports.
GEO Catching: It’s common to see us loaded down with our ATV out exploring with our son locating “GEO’S”
Board Games: We love having our competitiveness come out while laughing on the floor playing phase 10.
Home improvement: We both enjoy real estate and knocking home projects out around the house and at our rental properties.
Church: We attend church every Sunday, and putting our trust in God. He is the foundation of our family.

about Katie

Katie grew up in a small Texas town. She has 3 brothers and 1 sister. Her parents have been married for 21 years. She is an aunt to four nephews and two nieces. Family has always been very important to her, and regardless of where she has been in life, she keeps them as a priority. Her favorite time of the year is summer. She loves the outdoors and likes to stay active. But, she also loves to cuddle up inside with a cup of coffee. Her favorite foods include pasta and Mexican food. She graduated in 2015 and pursed a career in Real Estate. Katie enjoys going to church and growing her walk with Christ daily.

about Katie EXTENDED FAMILY

WE LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY: Our favorite thing is to be together as we all live within 45 minutes of each other. Family dinners, vacations, and Sunday evening porch visits are just a few of the times our large family gathers. Our child will be the second granddaughter on mom and dads side. Our family is awaiting anxiously to love and spoil another beautiful blessing.

Our new home just got completed last summer. We live on a private lake which offers tons of recreational sports. You will not find us inside during the summer. Summer is made for making family memories.
