We first met online eleven years ago through an app, and for our first date, we chose Starbucks, thinking it would be a quick cup of coffee. Four hours later, we were still engrossed in conversation, so we decided to grab dinner. What started as a short outing turned into a nine-hour adventure! From the very beginning, we felt God’s presence in our relationship, and we knew He had brought us together. After dating for over two years, we got engaged and married exactly one year later. Our journey has been filled with love, faith, and unforgettable moments. We have now been married for 8 years. Our love for each other is strong and continues to grow. We look forward to sharing that love with our child, helping them to thrive and reach their full potential. We want to share all of our passions and help our kiddo develop passions of their own.

Dear Birth Mom,

We are eager to learn more about you and hope to meet you soon. We understand that you may have many questions and concerns right now. Please know that we are praying for you, your family, and your little one. Regardless of whether we have the opportunity to meet, we will continue to pray for guidance for you and your baby.

Our hearts rejoice in your choice of life for this child, and we recognize the immense courage it takes to choose adoption. This act of love will forever change the lives of many and allow others to witness the grace and love of God throughout this journey. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us.

We met over eleven years ago and have been happily married for eight years. We adore children and are fortunate to work with them every day as educators in elementary schools. Both of us have always had a deep desire to have children, though we were uncertain about when that would happen. We believed that if it was meant to be, God would make it happen.

Over the last four years, we have felt God calling us toward adoption. While we weren’t sure what that would look like, after much prayer and preparation, we know that now is the right time, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Our relationship is built on a strong foundation of faith. We enjoy serving in our church, and our church family is praying for us during this process, as well as for you and your baby. We look forward to raising our child in church, teaching them about God’s love, and sharing their unique story—a love story made possible by your incredible love.

about Michael

Michael is an exceptional elementary school teacher with experience ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade. Shortly after graduating college, he had the incredible opportunity to teach at an international school overseas. This experience not only allowed him to serve the Lord but also opened his eyes to new places and cultures. Now, he teaches at our neighborhood school, where many of his students live nearby and often stop by to say hello when we’re outside. He is the teacher that all little kids want to have when they get to his grade level. Michael is the kindest person I know, always putting others before himself. His great sense of humor brings joy to everyone around him, and he loves to have fun and try new things. Michael will be an amazing dad! He cannot wait to give our child all the opportunities that he had growing up as well as so much more. As an only child, his parents are beyond excited to welcome their first grandchild and be an active part of their life.

As an only child, Michael’s parents are eagerly anticipating their first grandchild and can’t wait to spoil them like only grandparents can. They are both retired and enjoy traveling, though they have said that they will not be traveling as much once we are blessed with a little one because they do not want to miss out on any milestone.

about Nikki

Nicki is truly amazing with children! Nicki excelled as a teacher and an academic coach. Her talent for leading teachers and mentoring students led to her recent promotion as Assistant Principal last school year. This past summer, she took on the role of principal at her district’s Summer Enrichment Camp. This opportunity allowed her to shine in a new role while helping the students excel. Nicki has a genuine care for others and always thinks about how they feel. She is the sweetest and most loving person I know, and I have no doubt she will be a fantastic mom. Nicki’s parents are thrilled to welcome their second grandchild, and look forward to having the opportunity to spoil him/her in the same ways they have spoiled their first grandchild.

about Nikki EXTENDED FAMILY

Nicki has one brother with a wonderful 3-year-old daughter, who we cherish having over regularly. They live less than two miles away so they are close enough that when we have a little one the cousins will be able to get together frequently. Our niece will attend the elementary school where Michael teaches, so the cousins will be in school together part of their time there.
