Together Andrew and Hailey are known as the fun couple – always making each other laugh, willing to take a spontaneous trip, or go to a hockey game with friends. We love hanging out with our friends and family – but also value our time at home together. That is a core value in our family – spending time together. We want to show up for the school play, or the sporting event – as a family. We both feel very blessed to have been raised by incredible parents who were there for us and we want to be able to give that to our kids as well.
Dear Birth Mom,
We are so thankful that you are considering us to be loving parents to your child. While there is only so much you can gather from pictures, we hope you are able to see a little part of our world – especially how much we love each other, our family and friends and that we are incredibly excited to become parents. We have been praying for you and understand this decision comes with incredible grief and heartache. We truly see you as wonderfully brave and strong, and incredibly loving for making this choice for your child. If you were to choose us as their parents, we will love this child unconditionally and with as much love as we both experienced from our parents and will raise them to know how much you love them.
We’ve desired to be parents for many years and after several surgeries to remove endometriosis as well as failed fertility treatments – we knew that God was leading us towards adoption to grow our family. We’ve seen that God has been weaving adoption in us long before we knew we would struggle with infertility. Regardless of the decision you make, know that you are loved.
Andrew and I are ready to become parents, we’ve made our house a home by decorating it and spending time recently working on the baby’s room, we’ve established an incredible support system of family and friends that live nearby. Our home is filled with love, where we want to teach a child to be kind, and to ultimately thrive in this world. We are eagerly waiting to meet the child that will bring so much joy into our family.
Andrew is intentional, teachable, organized, and a hard-worker. He as an incredible work ethic, but he always makes time to prioritize his family and the people close to him. He’s someone who keeps his commitments to others, and I’ve seen first-hand how big his heart is for caring for those around him. He’s encouraging and calm in stressful situations – I rely on Andrew so much for his ability to see the big-picture in tough times and having a positive attitude through it all. I also love how athletic he is – he’s never tried a sport that he can’t do. He played college baseball and sport taught him a lot about teamwork and working hard for something. He also loves trying food and cooking it – he really is the best cook and makes the most amazing new-haven style pizza. He loves getting to have people over and make his famous pizza for our friends and family. I can’t wait to see him become a dad, he will be encouraging and always find the humor in any situation.
Andrew was blessed and raised by two amazing parents and a supportive tight-knit family. I have two younger sisters and we’re all 18 months apart. We love getting to all hangout together and do sibling dinners every few weeks - we all live within 10 minutes of each other! We have fond memories of our dad teaching us how to surf, ride a sailboat, & play sports. I had an ideal childhood that is filled with many happy memories. I took a lot of “father/son” trips with my dad and the best was when we went to Los Angeles to watch Texas play (and beat!) USC in the 2006 National Championship Game. We went to visit my grandparents on both sides of my parents a couple times a year and I’m particularly close with my Grandma Bonnie. My parents currently live near the beach in Oceanside, CA and so visiting with them frequently is so much fun and filled with surfing, exploring on the boardwalk or watching sunsets on the beach. They are so excited to become aunts, uncles and grandparents!

Hailey is wise, kind, empathetic, and creative. She loves the people close to her so deeply and loves to spend her time serving others. She leads a small-group of high school girls whom she’s been with since they were in 6th grade – meeting weekly to talk about life and teach them about Jesus. She also serves and mentors other women who have experienced infertility through a program at our church. She also is incredibly creative – she can paint and design. Her artistic side comes from her mom and grandma – who always encouraged creativity and pursuing your passions. Hailey is my best friend and favorite person to talk to when I’ve had a hard day. She has a calming presence to her, and is never judgemental or harsh. And that is how I know she will be the best mom. I can’t wait to watch how she loves our kids with her whole heart.
Hailey would describe her family as loving, present, kind, welcoming and fun. Hailey's parents have been married for over 30 years and love each other so much. They are instrumental in the person that Hailey is, they've been providers, protectors and always a shoulder to cry on. Hailey’s parents provided her with the best childhood - they played games, did crafts and played dress up. Hailey can’t wait to watch her parents become grandparents. Hailey’s brother, Harrison is outgoing, and has never met a stranger. He’s the jokester in the family and is always making all of us laugh. He lives in Houston and works in sales. Hailey also has a large extended family, she’s incredibly close with her cousins and aunts. They have a Christmas tradition where all 30 members of her family get together for Christmas Eve dinner. It’s her favorite Christmas tradition and she can’t wait to watch her future child grow up in this incredible family.
