About us

Hello! We are Aaron, Elizabeth, Alice, and Asa. We live in a rural community and love having some land where the kids can run and play! Aaron grew up in the country so it was important to him that our children had that same opportunity. We have 2 dogs and 15 chickens. We've had goats, ducks, and pigs before but we enjoy having diffferent animals around so the kids can learn responsibility and how to treat animals. Elizabeth would love to get sheep and an alpaca in the future but Aaron's not quite sure about that! We love being outside on the cool, starry nights. We also love listening to all the birds and animals around us. Exploring the area around us is also a fun thing to do.

While we love country life and animals, we also love music. Aaron plays the piano, guitar, and sings. Elizabeth plays the piano, saxophone, (working on)ukelele, and sings. Alice likes to play the recorder. Both kiddos can make anything into a drum and like to try to play the piano! It's one fun house!

Letter to you

Dear Friend,

We can’t imagine the decision you have before you and all that has led to this point. Know that you’re not alone. We’ve been praying for you! It’s a huge step to even get this far and weknow the Lord will help you with all that is ahead.

Before we were married, adoption was in our hearts. Doctors told Elizabeth that she would never be able to have a child. After marriage, we went through infertility, 4 miscarriages, and a medically necessary hysterectomy. God had a different plan for our lives. While that was a difficult season, we are grateful for it. We grew closer to the Lord and closer to each other. We were committed to our marriage and committed to adoption, whatever it looked like and wherever it led us.

We have an amazing 4 year old daughter and an adorable 1 year old son. Both were gifts to us by their amazing birth mothers. Because of these selfless mothers, we have been given the gift of parenthood. They are our heroes. They have changed our lives in the best way possible! Our goal is to honor and respect our birth mothers by raising their children to one day thank them for choosing life and choosing adoption. We would want to do the same for you.

We want to honor and include our children’s first families in their lives. We are able to have visits, keep them updated, and send pictures. After all, you did love your baby first! You are always welcome to be a part of our lives and the life of your child. You are making a brave and loving choice of adoption. You will always have our gratitude for that.

Our children may not have our blood, but we love them with every beat of our heart. They don’t have our face, but we’re reminded of God’s grace and their amazing birth families every time we look at them. They don’t have our DNA, but they fit in perfectly with our craziness! We love them fiercely. We would do anything for them. We love being parents and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Elizabeth will be a stay at home mom, and we have an amazing support system with our church, family, and college, where Aaron works. We’re far from being perfect, but we try to love the Lord and love people.

Thank you for considering adoption.

Thank you for reading our letter!

Humbly,

Aaron and Elizabeth

Aaron's testimony

I remember as a child often hearing of God's love and His plan for our lives. My parent's always had us in church and we knew that God had a plan for our lives. When I was 8 years old, my family attended a revival meeting that was taking place just down the road. That night, I remember a preacher who was loud and passionate telling us there was an ultimate price we would pay if we rejected the Lord and His payment for our sins. That night was the first time I ever heard of a place called Hell I didn't understand everything he preached, but I knew enough that I didn't want to go there. It was some weeks later that my grandma was able to lead me to the Lord. While I still didn't understand all of it, and definitely couldn't put it all into words, I knew something was different and that I had made peace with my Lord and Savior. It has truly changed my life and the lid of my family now, and I owe everything to the Lord Jesus Christ. I continue to grow as a Christian through our weekly church services and daily time with Him. We continue to follow Him step by step along our journey of life!

Elizabeth's testimony

I made a profession of faith when I was 4 years old. When I got older, I didn't remember praying or anything about that experience. At 12 years old, I stopped caring what people would think and got saved. Then, I was positive that Heaven was my home! I strive to do daily devotions, attend services whenever the doors are open, pass out gospel tracts, go on church visitation, and tell others about Him. I have a prayer journal that I use to help me be consistent in my prayer time. We have definitely been praying a lot about the adoption process and for the birth family, even though we don't know them yet. I'm so thankful that I can take everything to my Heavenly Father and leave it with Him!

about Aaron

From Elizabeth: Aaron is one amazing friend, husband, and father! He works hard to provide for us but still puts our family first. He has the flexibility with his work to help out at home, when needed. We couldn't make it without him! He's the rock of our family and always provides stability and protection. Alice is definitely a daddy's girl! Asa loves to wrestle with him when he gets home from work. We love to take adventures as a family and explore new places.

Aaron conducts for the college choir and also our church choir. He loves what he gets to do every day!

about Aaron HOBBIES & INTERESTS

We like to homestead. We have 15 chcikens and we enjoy getting fresh eggs! We also have a small fruit orchard where we are working on getting fresh fruit that you can just pick from the trees. We live in a rural area and have some land. The kids get to explore and play. It's quiet here and you can hear the chirping of birds in the spring time or look at stars on a clear night.
